Location: The Rock Shoal Cemetery (known by many as the Ellis Cemetery) is located in southwest San Saba County near the community of Sloan on the property of Tommy Johnson.

Directions:

From west San Saba city limit go west on U. S. 190 2.2 miles to FM 2732.

Turn left onto FM 2732 (road to Sloan). Go 7.4 miles to Rock Shoals Cemetery sign on left side of road.

Turn right through gate into Tommy Johnson property. Drive to the left around the Johnson home.

The cemetery is located directly behind the Johnson house and barn.
