1. Thomas W. Maxwell (No. 9 in List) was married to Texana Prescott on April 18, 1877, in San Saba County, Texas. There were eight children born to this union. The children are: Viola Arzula Maxwell, Mary Eona Maxwell, Roland C. Maxwell, Roy H. Maxwell, Wallace A. Maxwell, Thomas C. Maxwell, Anna Margaret Maxwell and D. B. Maxwell.

2. Texana Prescott Maxwell (No. 10 in the List) was the wife of Thomas W. Maxwell.  She was the daughter of Arzula Feazle and Aron Prescott.

3. D.B. "Paddy" Maxwell (No. 5 in the List) was the son of T. W. and Texana Maxwell. D.B. was never married and lived on the Maxwell ranch until his death in 1981.

4. Mary Eona Sheppard (No. 6 in the List) was the daughter of Texana and T. W. Maxwell. She was married to Thomas J. Sheppard on May 25, 1902.

5. Hervy Maxwell (No. 11 in the List) was born in 1808 in the state of Virginia. He moved to Texas in 1854 and settled in the Rock Shoals area of San Saba County on the north side of the San Saba River. He was married to Margaret I Maxwell. According to the 1860 census for San Saba County their children were Nancy Jane, Age 15, Robert F. Age 12, Mary Ann, Age 9 and Thomas W. Age 4.

6. John E. Sloan (No. 2 in the List) settled in the Rock Shoals neighborhood of San Saba County in 1854. He married Nancy Jane Maxwell on March 22, 1865. Nancy Jane Maxwell was the daughter of his neighbor, Hervy and Margaret Maxwell. After the death of Nancy Jane Maxwell, John E. Sloan married Addie Davis on September 9, 1877. The John E. Sloan family, the Hervy Maxwell family, and the George Feazle family were among the pioneering families of San Saba County.
